Bringin’ It Backwards: Interview with Jordan Suaste

Together with United states Songwriter, the pleasure was had by us of interviewing Jordan Suaste over Zoom movie!

Today, Jordan Suaste stocks the bittersweet but beautifully feel-good video clip for their brand new single “Patience.” a look that is intimate unrequited love, “Patience” showcases the pure vulnerability and effortless charisma that audiences have started you may anticipate through the 19-year-old singer/songwriter, whom first made waves along with his breakthrough hit “Body.” Browse the video for “Patience” HERE.

Directed by Brent Campanelli (an L.A.-based filmmaker/photographer understood for their work with musicians like Ashe), the video for “Patience” finds Suaste alone at a dinning table set for just two, filled with lit candles and a vase saturated in red flowers. The video follows Suaste through a series of reflective moments: listening to vinyl with his headphones on, daydreaming in his bedroom, dancing poolside, gazing into the bathroom mirror and turning his toothbrush into a make-believe microphone over the course of the R&B-laced and irresistibly catchy track. Even though the video clip completely catches the lonesome mood in the middle of “Patience,” Suaste infuses every shot together with his radiant energy and presence that is endearing.

States Suaste, “’Patience’ is approximately being over someone’s bullshit. It’s about experiencing lonely, but rather of simply sulking, it is a track about using cost, establishing boundaries and once you understand whenever enough will do and that’s the things I wanted the video clip to exhibit.
